Carter Family - Home Session

These people mean so much to me. Brooke and Christian were some of our very first friends we made when we were newly weds. We’ve been able to maintain our friendship over the years and most of the time they feel like family rather than friends. Our dear friend Brooke was diagnosed with a very aggressive form of breast cancer a few years ago. She’s been fighting the good fight but recently the Carters decided it was the right time to be closer to family and move to Arizona. Before they moved away it just seemed right to document them as a family in their very own home. It’s amazing how we shape the space we live in. Capturing them was a joy.
